Whitening

Whitening your teeth is the single most important non-invasive cosmetic change you can make to greatly improve your looks. Long-lasting teeth whitening results can dramatically improve the appearance of your smile and give your teeth a fresher, whiter appearance. Having brighter, whiter teeth has never been easier or more affordable whether you select a professional strength, take home whitening system or choose one of our in-office services.

Dr. Polasky uses the LumiBrite® whitening system and can help advise whether Lumibrite in-office tooth whitening is right for you by first conducting a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums to make sure they are healthy. She will then talk to you about your oral hygiene and lifestyle habits to determine if you will benefit from tooth whitening procedures. She may recommend you undergo tooth whitening if you are planning other cosmetic dental procedures like getting porcelain veneers or other cosmetic dental work. This may help ensure a better match between the restoration and your natural teeth.  For some patients whitening is recommended after the removal of braces to complete the new and improved smile.
